Career Day At Akron Career Tech High School
On Friday November 15th, Akron Career Teach had 2 guest speakers. One of the speakers was a retired baseball player and he was telling us how he was a CEO of his own business. Then we had 4 more speakers which were Mr. Epps, Bro Dre, J Black, and George Cater. Then me and Ty were able to get J. Blacks autograph and his book . Them me and Ty got to interview all of them for our Media Arts Class and get pictures.

On November 15th, Akron Career Tech High School had 4 speakers for spirit week. One of the speakers were Mr. Epps the media arts teacher. Mr. Epps brought in the speakers. The four speakers were George Carter, Jay Black, and Andre Elton. George Carter is the news man at Mecca Media Ent./ The Reporter Newspaper. Jay black is the man who gave students books and other stuff. Andre Elton talked about how you should stay focused on starting your own business and stuff an how you should not be a goofball.

On Nov 11th, Akron Career Tech High School it was career weak. we had 3 speakers come to talk with us. First jay black, a motivational speaker, George Carter is a tv personal and Bro. This week at Akron Career Tech High School, we had multiple speakers giving the advice of life, business, money, & knowledge. The 3 speakers were J Black, Andre Elton, & George Carter. Andre Elton gave not only good advice, but a memorable speech for everyone at ACT on the November 15th. One of the things myself & others couldn’t forget was him diving into the drug selling subject, as he went on to explain how drugs will not get you anything but food & clothes, "you can't buy assets with drug money". Its better to have your money legit, from a business or a job. He said you can actually spend "legit" money, and not have to question the possibility whether or not if you're going to jail the next day. On that subject, he also said that those who sell drugs, or get into the streets always end up dead, or in jail. “You'll either own a legit business under a LLC, or end up dead or in jail”. All of the speakers recommended starting your business as soon as possible. “Even if the business fails, you still learned something from that failure”. Dr Elton’s speech was also a good speech that felt like it had meaning, “As yall can see i eat good, I'm here today to make sure all of you eat good too!” Then the last speech, from J Black. Powerful, enthusiastic, energy filled speech. The speech was also recorded by his wife, sharing useful information.

On November 15th, we had three speakers for the day at 1115 S Main St, Akron, OH. Our first speaker was a baseball player, now he is a CEO which was Mr. Brooks. He is from Akron OH, he told us to be different but a good difference. He is a motivational speaker. Our second speaker was our famous hip hop Akron news man George Carter. He talked about how it was being in the industry. Another speaker we had was J Black, which was the best speaker in my opinion because he took the boring energy to a good and more mood overall. He even gave some students books of his own. He was a mood changer and we’d loved to have him back in the building her at Akron Career Tech high school. Our last speaker for the day was Andre Elton he was calm and touching. He talked about "real life" and all about business and taking life serious.

Mr. Epps team came to Akron Career Tech. The first guy was talking to us because we was talking over Mr. Epps. The other person started talking about motivating. Another guy was talking about his baseball team. Then the last guy was talking about him being a newscaster.

Ms. Carson had invited a guest speaker to come in. She was a nurse and she talked about her upbringing and other things. She explained her revenue and how much she makes in the position she’s in. She also gave us a packet on nursing colleges we could finish within a year or so. And she also shared a lot of other tips and tricks for us to use.
