People need to be informed on what's going on around them. Without journalists, we wouldn't know who our president is. In-closing, we need a source to give us information.

 Journalism is the art and science of gathering and compiling information. Journalism can help you verify things in a way such as  news articles, CNN 10, Fox 8, newspapers, news on the tv & more. Also, when watching Fox 8 News they do journalism and practice until its time to start there live broadcast on television. Journalism is important because media is often referred to as the "fourth pillar of the state". Its also for people to work and live together effectively, they need to be informed not only about the current events but changes in the world today. Now the 9 mediums or types of journalism are Investigative, Broadcast, Digital, Photo, Citizen, Sports, Opinion, Watchdog,  and Political.
