What’s a blog ? A blog is an online platform where you can share your thoughts and ideas about different facts or topics. There are six different platforms you can use for blogging. Apps/platforms like Word Press are one of the most popular choices for blogging. Next we have Joomla which is a flexible website you can do more than blogging on. After that we have Drubpal mostly used by bloggers with multiple pages. Then comes Ghost that's used for blogging and other types of written content. Not last nor least, we have medium , medium has 100+million of users/visitors a month but the lack of website design may make it hard for your content to stand out. Lastly we have tumblr which is the platform that is noticed more and has more highly empowered social networking. If you're putting your thoughts and ideas in a tangable form, consider blogging.

Trying To get your blog to catch eyes? Or maybe just looking for a collab? Well, i just watched a pretty interesting video that 2 ACT students made. In the video they talked about a vlog and how to make it easier to start. The main thing that the video talked about was what a blog is and and the 6 best websites to help you to get it started. The first blogsite we have is word press, WordPress is one of the more popular choices for the bloggers meaning this site has one of the biggest numbers when it comes to artists who use this site. Secondly we got Joomla this is a very flexible. The third site is Drupal, Drupal is a high traffic or can have multiple people in the site without it performing less or lagging. The third site would be Ghost. No this isnt a sprit sthis would be a blog site with many different colors, styles, and fonts for the creator to better help catch the eye of the reader and is made for other content needs. Fourth site is Medium this is one of the more popular sites with over 100,000,000 visitors. The final site we have is Tumblr. This would be the most dependable with the best plans for the cheapest prices and highly powers social networking and getting collaborations. These are just a few sites that are used to help make a blog. There are multiple reasons people would rather look at a blog because they might rather listen to feedback than read it themself. Thank you for your time

When watching the podcast with Dylan and Scot they went over many useful blogger sites from beginner friendly sites to sites you could use if you wanted to make your blog more unique from other blogs. Some beginner friendly sites that were mentioned were Word-press, Tumbler, and blogger. Two of these sites are free while Word-press cost $2.99 for the app, when talking about bloggers it was mentioned as one of the websites Media Arts uses. It is a Google extension and really easy to use for beginners. Tumbler on the other hand is kind of like a social media platform but in more of a blogger form, you can scroll past blogs and even comment about what you think of them. Another site that was talked about that cost money to use was Ghost, which is $14.99 while I do think the price is a bit much it was mentioned in the podcast as one of the top sites that is used by bloggers, some other sites that where talked about where Medium, Joomla, and Drupal. Medium is a blogger website that is more for bloggers that know what they're doing, Joomla is about supporting three party websites and all about making your blog unique from other blogs. Lastly, Drupal is more for larger blogs where you can add as many pages as you would like with no type of limit needed.
