The importance of social media. When I wake up in the morning and you look outside and its bad weather you would either go to your weathering app or one of your social media apps. If your weather app isn't working or giving you a hard time, you can either go to Facebook or Instagram to see if the Akron Public Schools posted a "no school or bad roads" message. If you watch the news it will tell you about all the roads, all the schools and what's going on around the world and area.

Our topic in Media Arts class today was the importance of social media during bad weather. Gaining access to information about current weather conditions is crucial and much easier today than in previous generations. This is largely done thanks to the help of social media. Many schools and businesses post information about their schedules that you can visit online at any time. The most popular and effective ways of doing this are through company websites or official social media accounts. The weather app available on most smartphones is also an incredibly useful tool for finding out about hazardous weather conditions in advance so you can make an informed decision. Another prominent method of checking the weather is through local news channels. You tube can also help your school tell students that the weather is bad and there's no school. TikTok can help some people post videos of the weather and take pictures and post them. A bad Snow Storm has hit Ohio and other states in America. That mean schools around the states will be closed due to the extreme cold temperature. The good thing is how well Social media can show the things you need. One benefit of social media is checking the weather on your phone or you can watch the News on your T.V. And see if not students have school. Or if your school has it on account on any social media app you can see if or if not there is any school.

There is a lot of importance of social media during bad weather and lots of things you have to do. The weather could be a really big safety hazard everyone should know about. If you want to know about the weather and what's going on outside without going outside you can watch the news. The news anchor tells us all we need to know. You can also look on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat or Google. The weather gets really bad so you need to check it at least every day when you're going out so you can dress appropriately. If it is snowy I suggest warm clothes like hats, gloves, boots, thick pants and warm coats so you won't get sick. When you go to look at the weather and it's bad you need to prepare for what's coming. If you get a bad weather watch you need to stock up on food, water, and other needed items. The new generation uses social media for everything now, even things our ancestors use to read off the new paper. With the new things technology brings we can now check for the weather up to ten days. Without social media most parents would've brought their kids to school without knowing they are all closed or even go out without a jacket thinking the weather feels the same from the day before. The importance of social media during bad weather helps prevent bad health and helps people be more aware of what's going on outside.

Social Media is important during bad weather because you have to know what's going on and what could happen during this time. You need to know if it's a snowstorm, heavy rain, hail, tornado, anything like that to be on high alert and prepared for what is about to happen. Parents also need to know if the weather is safe for their child to attend school and watch for school closings. if it's below 20 degrees average your child cannot attend school but, if it's over 20 degrees but it's also still cold just make sure your child is bundled up and warm to get where they need to go. The weather is talked about on news, the weather app, Google, Safari and any other social media platforms. The people who control things like that such as news anchor etc... Will send alerts to your phone rather you do watch the news or don't be on social media at all its all for safety reasons to take cover. That is why social media is important during bad weather.

Social media is important during bad weather cause it tells us how many inches of snow we could possibly get. Without social media we wouldn't know how bad the snow or weather would be. We wouldn't know if we would get snow storms Which would cause more car accidents and deaths and more problems overall. We wouldn't know if the weather would be in the negatives or anything.

Hi, I'm going to be talking about how social media is good during bad weather. The importance of social media is you need to get in contact with your loved ones and to make sure they are ok because they might not have your number or you don't have there's that is where Facebook come in. Facebook is good for the weather especially when there is a bad snow storm maybe you need too check in your area or maybe you wanna look in other parts of the USA so yo need the news app to check those things. Maybe there was a bad car crash during the storm and you want people to be careful on that part of the highway you would use social media to show what happened and where. That is why we need social media for all types of things.

It could be a super icy street, or it could be an overly hot day. Either way you're going to want to know what the day holds. It's been a long minute since I've seen anyone watching the news or even reading a newspaper. So how do people check the weather? Everybody and every establishment uses a different way to spread the news of a snow day. If you're like me and you go to school, you might have had the week off from January first 2026, to February 2nd 2026. There were a couple ways the school communicated the off days to us students. The first way they told us was by sending a voicemail and or email to the parents of the students and staff. The second way school communicates with us is by posting on their social media page weather its Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, ETC… Another way businesses communicate to their staff could be if it meets a certain temperature they don't have work or if they get a certain amount of snow they wont have work.
